A New Year for Broken Hearts

Most of us will have our hearts broken sooner or later. It seems to be the cost of love and connection.Heartbreak may be inevitable, but despair is not. As we begin a new year in precarious times,let us find a way to carry our broken hearts bravely into a hopeful future.

This Sunday, as is our New Years tradition, we gather to celebrate Fire Communion. We will reflect on the old year gone, and the possibilities that lay ahead, so that we can enter in to 2025 with joy and hope! This will also be Rev. Jaimie’s last Sunday before she begins her four month sabbatical.

Join us in the sanctuary at 5:30pm for our Christmas Eve Service. Here with your UUCH family, we will sing carols, light candles, and be transformed by the wonder of this old story of love made new in its telling.

Present to Community: a PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Bring your Santa hats, Christmas PJs, voices for caroling, and appetite for pancakes. Instead of a service, there will be pancakes and coffee and lots of fun to be had in fellowship hall from 10:30-12pm! All are welcome!
