As Unitarian Universalists we uphold interdependence and equity as two of our highest values. We also understand that interdependence is not an aspiration, but an irrefutable scientific and spiritual truth. In this service, we will investigate what it means to truly see each other as other faces of the divine, of the necessary whole. How does this change our approach when seeing a stranger, and how does this change the ways in which we hold love, even for ourselves?
