Virtual Service Auction

Our second ever Virtual Service Auction is coming in February!

For those new to UUCH, the Service Auction has long been the second-largest means of raising funds for our church’s operations, the largest being our spring Annual Budget Drive to secure pledges/donations as a basis for building a church budget for the coming church fiscal year that begins every July 1. Due to the pandemic that began in 2020, the Stewardship Committee established our first Virtual Service Auction, held January 31- February 14, 2021.

Given the uncertainty of when we will be able to resume fellowship within our Broadmor Road location, we are going virtual again and will be accepting donations of services and goods from our congregation online leading up to the auction itself, which will open for bidding on Sunday, February 13 and close on Sunday, February 27.

Stay tuned to the next newsletter and Sunday service for more information on how to identify and submit items for bid. Last year’s virtual auction items included game nights, virtual dinner parties, handyman services, Fourth of July and Labor Day outdoor events, and a whole array of gift baskets, one-of-a-kind art and/or craft pieces, chocolates, baked items, a puzzle collection, camping tent, sports equipment, and more.

Your contribution is only limited by your imagination. For more information, please contact Stewardship chair Dan McKitrick by message or email, Stewardship@uuch.org.
