Flower Communion

Rev. Capek who started the flower communion ritual in 1923, brought to his people a simple reminder, “each of you are unique, and precious, and what you bring to this place matters.” This message resounded against the backdrop of political upheaval in Europe. Today, we are in our own cultural crisis moment, fighting our own good fight against fascism and oppression, and this message still rings true. Join us this Sunday, bring a flower to share, unique and precious as you are!
