Join us this Sunday for a powerful service led by Tahirih Osborne, as they weave together personal reflections, history, and transformative organizing. Drawing from experiences growing up as a Baha’i in rural Alabama, we will explore the life and theology of the original Tahirih—a feminist, poet, and martyr—and connect these legacies to the urgent work of collective liberation today. With stories of community care, Tahirih will challenge us to reimagine freedom not as an individual state, but as a shared responsibility. How do we embody justice in the present? How do we build a future where no one is disposable? Come ready to reflect, engage, and take action.
Tahirih Osborne is a dedicated social justice organizer with over a decade of experience organizing for liberation and transformative justice. In their role as the Executive Director of the Huntsville Bail Fund, she is actively engaged in community mobilization around jail detention and the criminalization of poverty. They seek to confront the prison-industrial complex with community-driven initiatives that create safety.
