Programs are currently postponed/cancelled due to the Covid pandemic. Watch the newsletter, calendar events, and announcements for Adult RE events designed to mitigate transmission of the virus. Below are examples of what we have done in the past and we may do again when the danger has passed.

Awareness Through Movement

Sally's classEveryone is welcome! This Feldenkrais group class is designed to improve self-awareness and mobility. The class ia verbally guided through gentle movement sequences. These new movement patterns will enable you to move with greater ease and fluidity.

This Adult RE class is drop-in, no experience necessary, and is led by Sally Locklear. Wear comfortable, loose clothing, and bring a bath towel to use as a head support.  Classes are postponed until further notice.

Check the calendar to verify the class is meeting.  We occasionally let Sally take a break for a few weeks. If you need childcare for this event, please contact the ARE Chair (, Attention Adult RE) at least a week before the event.

Wonderful Wednesday Video Discussion

At there is a wealth of ideas shared by powerful speakers on a wide variety of topics that can inspire us to think on a deeper spiritual level, or learn something new about ourselves and each other.  At Wonderful Wednesday video discussions we watch a TED Talk together or other interesting video and then share our reactions to the talk.

Keep an eye on the newsletter to see when the next WW video is showing and join us for the conversation.

Monday SoulCollage® Create-shops

soulcollageCardTumbled in a rich living collage, images constantly speak to us:  in dreams, through art, and in our interpretation of the everyday world.  Join us for an evening of imagery and inspiration as you start building your own personal deck of evocative 5” x 8” SoulCollage® cards. This journey begins with the first card so it is never too late to get started with your own cards. Check out for more information about the SoulCollage® process we are following developed by Seena B. Frost, or look in the newsletter for more information.

Check the calendar to verify the workshop is meeting. If you need childcare for this event, please contact the ARE Chair (, Attention Adult RE) at least a week before the event.

UUkulele Fun Group

Interested in getting together with other UUs to play the ukulele? We meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 5:45 to 6:45 pm to enjoy ukulele playing. This group is for all levels of familiarity with the ukulele — from the “very beginner” to more “seasoned” players. We will learn from each other, jam, share music, and simply enjoy this lively instrument. No prior  experience necessary; this is an easy instrument to learn. So join the ukulele bug that is sweeping the country, and come make a little music with us.

As with all of our ongoing programs it is a good idea to check the church calendar to verify the group is meeting any particular evening. This group is sponsored by UUCH Adult RE. Contact Nancy Finley or Glen Clark,, Attention UUkulele Fun for further information.
