Touching Live

Jennifer Jonas is an accredited music therapist with over 25 years of experience working with children and seniors. She began her studies in her home country of Canada and then pursued her master’s at Michigan State University. In 1998, Jennifer’s family moved to Huntsville, where she continued her therapy work. In 2013, she began sharing her music therapy stories on WLRH, where she is a regular contributor to the Sundial Writers Corner. Sharing her stories on the radio inspired her dream of writing her own book, Touching Lives, One Song at a Time.

Jennifer writes, “I have learned over my 25 years as a music therapist how we can touch people’s lives. Being present with someone, truly present, is something we can all do in our daily lives.”
Join us this Sunday as Jennifer returns to UUCH to share her music therapy stories and love of music with our community.
