Our first principle states that we believe that all lives have inherent worth and dignity. However, we live in a society that operates on the foundation that the color of your skin matters. How do we as UUs live out our beliefs in a society based on white privilege? How can we, as mostly white UUs, affirm and promote “Black Lives Matter” while acknowledging that all lives matter?
