This spring revealed to us once again that our country is plagued by not one, but two pandemics: Covid-19, and racism and police brutality. As people of faith who believe in the inherent worth and dignity of each person and so must believe that black lives matter, in this season of renewal, can we recommit? Let us as a congregation promise ourselves and promise each other that we will disrupt white supremacy culture everywhere we find it, and to bring more love and justice to our community.
